Countdown to blast off has now begun for Falkirk's big fireworks night
Dogs and cats will be only ones not pleased to hear Falkirk’s annual fireworks spectacular is less than a fortnight away.
From 6.30pm on Thursday, November, this year’s massive organised display in Callendar Park will feature an Apocalypse Now proportion of pyrotechnics and some top tunes from Mr Firework himself, DJ Craigie P.
Craig’s bangers give way to the fireworks at 7.30pm.
Visitors are asked to wrap up warm, whack on some sturdy footwear, arm themselves with a torch and follow instructions from stewards.
People are urged – if not ordered – not to bring along any alcohol, sparklers or, for the more adventurous, attempt to fly a drone on the night.
