Falkirk area bridge crossing road closed for drainage works next week
The A876 trunk road over the Clackmannanshire Bridge will be closed in both directions for drainage cleaning works next week.
The route will be inaccessible between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday, October 28, Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30.
A diversion route will be signposted between Kilbagie Roundabout and Higgins Neuk Roundabout via the A977, North Approach Road and A985 Kincardine Bridge.
This will add approximately two minutes and 0.3 miles to affected journeys.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times and all works are weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s south east network manager, said: “It’s essential for safety that we close the road in both directions while these drainage works are completed.
“We’ll do this at night and the diversion is relatively short, so we do not expect this to cause any significant disruption.”
