Classic Music Live! Falkirk presents a concert by the Zemlinsky Trio in Falkirk Trinity Church

The Zemlinsky Trio brings together three acclaimed London‑based musicians whose shared passion for expressive chamber music shapes the ensemble’s vibrant artistic identity. Known for their refined ensemble playing and imaginative programming, the trio performs across the UK and Europe.

Clarinettist Peter Cigleris is in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. He has appeared on BBC Radio Three’s ‘In Tune’ programme and performed live for the BBC in a Radio Three lunchtime recital.  He was a co-artistic director of the 2024 ClarinetFest in Dublin. Peter’s most recent CD release was ‘Rediscovered’ on the Cala Signum label.

Renowned for her expressive artistry and commanding stage presence, Evva Mizerska is an award‑winning cellist.  Born in Poland, Evva graduated in Warsaw, and continued her training at Trinity College of Music in London.  Evva is a passionate advocate for Polish and contemporary music. Her recent chamber recording with the Veles Ensemble was selected as a “Pick of the Week” by The Guardian.

Italian pianist Emma Abbate was described as "an amazingly talented pianist" by the leading Italian magazine Musica.  She regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and has recently presented an episode of Inside Music.   Emma is making a series of acclaimed recordings devoted to 20th century Italian vocal chamber music, the latest of which is the world-première Franco Alfano: Songs with the leading Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi.

Based in London, Emma is a regular coach at the Royal Opera House, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Verbier Festival Academy. Emma has been elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of her ‘significant contribution’. to the music profession.

The concert at Falkirk Trinity Church on Friday, November 13 starts at 7.30pm.
