Project Theatre are ready to rock Grangemouth Town Hall with their latest production
Members of Project Theatre are ready to rock Grangemouth Town Hall this week.
The company’s young students have been working hard in recent months preparing their latest production for audiences to enjoy and they are now ready to entertain with School of Rock!

The production will be performed by both Project Theatre’s junior and senior youth theatre casts on alternate performances.
The smash-hit musical, based on the 2003 film starring Jack Black, tells the story of down-on-his-luck musician Dewey Finn who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.

However, after discovering a class full of hidden musical talent, what begins as a desperate attempt to make some cash quickly turns into a mission to transform straight A students into a rock band.
Of course, it’s no easy task with strict parents, a watchful headteacher and the pressure of the Battle of the Bands looming…but can Dewey and his students pull it off?
School of Rock! is a celebration of courage, creativity and finding your voice and it promises a great night out for audiences with incredible songs, big laughs and a lot of heart.
Project Theatre’s School of Rock! runs at Grangemouth Town Hall from Thursday, September 3 to Saturday, September 5. Performances are at 7pm each night, and a 2pm matinee on Saturday.
The junior cast, who are between the ages of eight and 11, will perform the shows on Thursday, September 3 and the matinee on Saturday, September 5. The shows on Friday, September 4 and the evening of Saturday, September 5 will be performed by the senior cast, who are between the ages of 12 and 18.
The production is suitable for family audiences, but please note the production contains loud rock music, flashing/strobe lighting and some mild language/themes in keeping with the story.
