Have yourself a very merry and creative Christmas – don’t miss this exhibition of emerging local talent, plus a festive fayre packed with hand-made treasures.
Christmas shopping doesn’t have to be ordinary, and doesn’t have to be filled with High Street finds – a Larbert creative studio is hosting a Christmas Fayre weekend that offers you the chance to find hand-made gifts just perfect for the ones you love.
All year round D2 The Creative Centre hosts classes for adults and children in its large teaching studios. It also has studios for hire, and has become the go-to-space for local talent.
This year, it is hosting a combined Christmas fayre weekend and children’s art exhibition at its home in Lochlands Business Park FK5 3NS. And with free entry and free parking, this is Christmas shopping made easy!

What’s on
There will be plenty of stalls, all featuring hand-made crafts, including wood work, framing, paintings and crafts. There will also be home baking on sale, and don’t miss out on your chance to win in the raffle.
You will have a chance to browse 150 pieces of local kids’ artwork in their very own exhibition, plus tour the studios … if you have ever fancied seeing behind the doors of D2 The Creative Centre, or want to know more about daytime and evening classes, this is your chance.
Teas, coffees and other refreshments will also be available on both the Friday evening and Saturday daytime.

When is it
The Christmas fayre is on Friday, November 27, from 6-9pm, and Saturday, November 28, 10am to 5pm. The studios will be open at the same time, and the annual exhibition is on both dates, and continues right up until Christmas, from 10am to 3pm every day.
Where is it
Don’t miss out on your chance to explore this hidden gem for creative fans, and your chance to see the best of Falkirk’s young artistic talent on show. Just follow signs for Xtreme Karting and D2 the creative centre is right beside it.
