Frighteningly good fun for families as Blooming Bairns host first Hallowe'en Fayre
Falkirk area families are being offered the chance to get involved in some spooktacularly fun events this weekend...if they dare.
A number of Hallowe’en events are taking place on Saturday, October 31 – and everyone’s invited to get involved.

In Falkirk town centre the Blooming Bairns are hosting their first Hallowe’en Fayre in Trinity Church Halls on Saturday.
The event aims to bring some family friendly fun of the season to the town centre with opportunities for youngsters to dook for apples, play Hallowe’en games, have their faces painted and enjoy some crafting – all for free.
There’s also the chance to get up close to some creepy creatures with animal handling from Scaled Adventures and a variety of refreshments to enjoy.
The event, which runs from noon until 6pm, will also have a range of stalls to browse.
Those attending are urged to truly get into the Hallowe’en spirit with fancy dress encouraged.
The frightfully fun event comes as the Blooming Bairns’ Witches Trail around Falkirk town centre prepares to close.
But don’t worry if you’ve not yet completed the free trail – you’ve got until Sunday, November 1 to do so.
To take part pick up your map from Asda, New Look, Party Rocks or the Falkirk Delivers office and follow the trail.
Collect the stamps in your Pumpkin Passport at the participating shops on the map and hand in your completed forms to be in with the chance of a prize.
For those who complete the trail – adults and children – in fancy dress there are further prizes to be won.
