One-stop-shop builders merchant in Grangemouth: The IBT you knew in 2002 is not that business anymore
Major investment, loads of new services, and plenty of expert advice – discover the IBT Grangemouth like you never knew before.
A building and timber firm in Falkirk district has had its very own makeover, with lots of investment, a change of key personnel and an expansion on what’s on offer.
IBT, which began back in 2002, isn’t the same any more; in 2018 a new management team came in, bringing with them plenty of fresh ideas, while retaining core staff who knew the business inside out.
That began a period of investment to make things better for both trade and domestic customers.
What’s new
· They completely rebuilt the trade counter
· Renovated heir landscape display
· Increase their delivery fleet from two to five trucks
· Created a dedicated Joinery Centre for trade and DIY
· Created imagination stations for doors and floors to help customers explore their options
· Set up a cutting service, supported by sister company Carronvale
· Created a new roofing range
· And completely reworked their website.
Weronika Glowicka, the marketing manager, said: “This has all brought us much closer to being the one-stop-shop we want to be for the whole region.”
But the hard work hasn’t stopped there; they now have a big following on social media, with their Tik Tok videos regularly featuring staff showcasing products and services in a fun way.
And local charities have also benefitted.
Weronika added: “We have supported over 100 charities over recent years, with more to come. It’s part of our commitment to our customers and to the wider community.”
Warm welcome
Regular customers will have appreciated the changes, but if you haven’t been to IBT in Wood Street Grangemouth, you are in for a very pleasant surprise.
On behalf of the team, manager Gerry Carney, said: “We’d love people to pop in and see what we’ve done with the place … we offer so much more than ever, and our displays really help spark the imagination.
“Even if you are planning a job for the future, and just want to talk through your ideas and get an idea of costs, our team are more than happy to help.
“Our google reviews give us five stars, which we are very proud of, and we work hard to be the kind of business you want and need by your side.”
Trusted by the trade and public for over two decades, and with free local deliveries, IBT are there to help no matter the size of the job, and whatever time of year it is.
