Two Falkirk streets shut off to traffic for road surfacing this week
Motorists will have to give a Falkirk road a wide berth this week as surfacing works close a section of it off.
Falkirk Council made an order to temporarily prohibit traffic on Derwent Avenue, Falkirk from its junction with Maggie Woods Loan to its junction with Shannon Drive and Shannon Drive, from number 65 to number 67.
The closure will be in placed from 7.30am to 5pm on Thursday, October 22. The alternative route for Derwent Avenue is Derwent Avenue – Maggie Woods Loan – Bantaskine Drive – Shannon Drive – Teviot Street and vice versa, while the alternative route for Shannon Drive is Shannon Drive – Bantaskine Road – Maggie Woods Loan – Derwent Avenue and vice versa.
