Smiles all round as Louise gets teeth into new role as Falkirk dental group CEO
A Falkirk area dental group has appointed an new CEO as the business – which includes Tryst Dental Practice in Larbert – continues to expand.
Succeeding founder and CEO Jim Hall, Louise Reeves, from Portman Dentex, is now the head of Clyde Munro Dental Group, bringing extensive operational experience and dentistry practice experience to the business.
Jim, who will remain actively involved with the business as founder and member of the board, founded Clyde Munro in 2015 with a vision to create a distinctly Scottish dental group focused on delivering high-quality care within local communities.
A decade later, Clyde Munro is Scotland’s leading dental group, with sixty-five practices stretching from Orkney to the Scottish Borders. Its teams include around

three hundred dentists and five hundred support staff, providing care to more than half a million patients each year.
Louise’s appointment signals the next phase for the business, with a focus on strengthening its existing network, investing in its people and practices, improving
access to dental care and continuing to develop the quality and range of services available to patients across Scotland.
She said: “Clyde Munro has built an incredibly strong business over the past decade, with a clear commitment to delivering high-quality dental care in communities
across Scotland.
"I’m excited by the opportunity to build on those foundations and lead its next phase. Dentistry is changing quickly and I want Clyde Munro to be at the forefront of that change, recognised as the industry-leading dental group, embracing innovation, technology and new ways of working that improve the experience for our patients and our people.
“What particularly drew me to Clyde Munro is how deeply its values run through the organisation. Putting patients’ wellbeing first, supporting our colleagues and playing a positive role in our communities are fundamental to the business and values I’m committed to championing.
“I’m looking forward to working with Jim and our teams across Scotland to combine that strong sense of purpose with real ambition for the future and set the standard
for what a modern dental group can be.”
Jim added: “When we created Clyde Munro in 2015, our ambition was to build a dental group that was proudly Scottish and could make a meaningful difference to
dental care in communities across the country.
“To see that grow from seven practices to a group caring for more than half a million patients is something I am immensely proud of, and that achievement belongs to the many talented people who have been part of Clyde Munro over the past decade.
“Louise has exceptional experience of our sector and, importantly, understands practices, clinicians and the realities of delivering excellent patient care. She’s the ideal person to lead the business through its next chapter and I’m looking forward to supporting Louise and the team in this next exciting phase.”
Clyde Munro provides both NHS and private dental care and has practices across Scotland, including in rural and remote communities where access to dentistry remains a significant challenge.
The group has continued to invest in recruitment, training and technology, including its Advanced Dentistry and Clinical Skills Centre in Perth.
