For £60, families of up to two adults and four children can travel together as often as they want for the week.

The Family Pass can be used from Monday, October 12 to Monday, October 19, and it is valid for seven days after purchase. The final day that the pass can be used is Sunday, October 25. Travel with the Family Pass is valid on services after 9.15am during weekdays, and can be used at any time during the weekends.

Tickets can be purchased via the ScotRail website, ticket offices, or on board a train when travelling from a station that does not have ticket-buying facilities available.

Claire Dickie, ScotRail commercial director, said: “Our Family Pass has proved a really popular way for families to get out and explore Scotland together during the school holidays, so we’re pleased to bring it back again this October.

“With unlimited travel for seven consecutive days, families have the freedom to plan several days out, visit friends and relatives, or simply decide where they want to go on the day.

“We want rail to be an easy and affordable choice for families, and the Family Pass offers great flexibility for making the most of the October break.”

More information about the pass can be found at the ScotRail website.
