Music fans in Falkirk have a treat in store for them this weekend, as the Falkirk Record and CD Fair returns to the Howgate Shopping Centre.

Running on both Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5, from 10am to 4pm, the event will see dealers set up shop in the shopping centre offering a wide selection of vinyl records and CDs spanning the decades, from the 1950s right through to present-day releases.

Genres available include rock, punk, folk, metal, classical, blues, jazz, indie and soul, giving collectors and casual browsers alike plenty to dig through, with the chance to unearth rare and hard-to-find CDs and records among the crates.

As well as buying, visitors will be able to sell or exchange their own records and CDs at the fair. Admission is free, though shoppers are advised that some dealers may only accept cash, so it's worth coming prepared.
