Can chucking Grangemouth offender was fizzing mad at neighbour

An offender has been given another chance to stay out of trouble.

Liam Mackie, 27, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour at an address in Sealock Court, Grangemouth on September 13 last year.

The charge stated Mackie threw a can towards a window and struck a neighbour’s motorcycle.

He also admitted a further threatening behaviour offence at his 88 Kersiebank Avenue, Grangemouth home on February 18 this year.

At a pervious appearance the court heard police officers attended at the address in the early hours and found an agitated Mackie “ranting incoherently” as people tried to get him to leave the address.

Mackie also kicked out at police officers and even attempted to bite one during a search in Falkirk Police Station on August 5, 2023.

Last Thursday, Sheriff Maryam Labaki continued Mackie’s structured deferred sentence for three months to January 28 next year.
