Impact Arts expands support for families and communities in Falkirk
Creative arts charity, Impact Arts has announced plans to expand its presence in Falkirk by adding to its creative programmes designed to support people struggling in the area.
In addition, the programmes are also in place to help parents, families and individuals who may be facing difficult circumstances.
Having worked within the local Falkirk community since 2024, Impact Arts has now added to its support network, with the aim of having a direct impact on community groups facing hardship.
The latest programme to be introduced, make it your own, has a direct focus on supporting people in the local area who may be at risk of homelessness.
By offering methods such as early intervention, creative engagement and individualised support, the make it your own programme aims to stabilise and move at-risk people towards a secure outcome.
Art wise, the first of the two prior programmes has a focus on connecting families, building confidence and improving wellbeing by encouraging self-expression and building family trust.
The second, impactful parents, aims to help unemployed or potentially underemployed parents develop essential work-life skills or gain qualifications to improve long term work opportunities.
Fiona Doring, CEO of Impact Arts said: "We’re delighted to be growing our work in Falkirk and supporting more people across the community. Our programmes are designed to meet people where they are, providing creative, practical support that helps individuals and families build confidence, develop skills, and move forward in their lives."
