Dunipace FC girls kitted out after £1000 Persimmon Homes donation
Girls from Dunipace FC in Falkirk have been kitted out after a £1000 donation from Persimmon Homes East Scotland.
Falkirk MP Euan Stainbank joined Persimmon’s head of customer care, Lisa Riley, at the club to surprise the young players with the donation. Funding from the home builder’s Community Champions initiative has paid for new kits for their ever-growing 2017s team.
The young players can now take to the pitch in matching kits as they continue to develop their football skills.
As a Persimmon Homes employee and parent of club player Sia, Lisa said the donation was a special moment: “It was brilliant to be able to surprise the girls and their parents with this donation.
“It’s fantastic to see how much the team has grown and how many girls are getting involved in football. The new kits will make a real difference and it’s great to be able to support a club that is giving so many young players the opportunity to enjoy the game.”
