Redding youth footballers need online votes to win chance to play in national tournament

A Falkirk area youth football side is counting on the region’s residents to show their support and help its stars win a chance to play at the training base for the Scotland national team.

Westfield Colts 2007 have made it through to an online play-off against FC Kilmarnock Ladies Football U13s, with the winner given the opportunity to compete in The Caledonia Super Cup at the Oriam in Edinburgh this May.

The club, which plays home matches at King George’s Field in Redding, needs social media users to lend their backing throughout the course of today by clicking the link below and and liking the Westfield Colts image.

Voting is open until 7pm today only and can also be done on Twitter by searching for @CaleySuperCup and choosing Westfield Colts.

The team with the most votes across Facebook and Twitter will win the grand prize.
