Baby of the week: Slamannan tot Torvi Tulloch
Torvi Rachelle Tulloch was born on June 2, 2026 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 9.46am, weighing 9lb 2oz.
Dad Graham Tulloch, 32, runs his own roofing business, while mum Kim Tulloch, 32, is a project co-ordinator at Dalcour Maclaren. Torvi has two older brothers – Graham, 11 and Luke, 3. The family live with their three dogs – Shadow, Dozer and Storm – in Slamannan.

Mum said her pregnancy was “eventful”. She had constant nausea from day one and it was the nausea that made Graham ask one Saturday night ‘are you pregnant or something?’ and then it clicked. In the second trimester mum had heartburn and a craving for milk again. She said the third trimester was difficult as she got so big she could no longer drive and had to work from home for the last month.
The birth was a planned caesarian section which mum said was “pretty easy going” although she said it was strange not having to go through the labour process this time round. Torvi was well tucked in and needed forceps to get her out.
Mum and dad chose the name Torvi because they had been watching the series ‘Vikings’ and then when scrolling through baby names Torvi popped up. They both agreed it was different. Her middle name Rachelle is after her Granny Shell who sadly passed away in December 2022.
Torvi is a very happy baby who loves the sound of her own voice. She already has no patience, when she wants something she wants it now. Dad says she’s just liker her Mummy. Torvi loves attention wants you to talk or sing to her all day long. She’s a great sleeper and mum said she’s “such an easy baby”.
Torvi loves her visits with grandparents John McLuckie and Ruby Cochrane. Her favourite person is her Auntie Debbie McLuckie. She’s always got the biggest smiles for her and already has her Auntie Debbie wrapped around her little fingers.
