Community Fund is now live

For communities across Falkirk District, continued investment in community-led projects supporting mental health and wellbeing has created a lasting difference. From creating spaces where people feel connected and supported, to helping people access wellbeing activities and build resilience, community groups and organisations play a vital role in improving lives. That is why CVS Falkirk & District is delighted to announce the launch of the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund Round 6.

With a strong focus on prevention and early intervention, the Fund supports community-based projects and initiatives to address local mental health and wellbeing needs for adults (aged 16+); with emphasis on priority issues of social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, and tackling poverty and inequality.

Administered by CVS Falkirk & District, CEO Victoria McRae highlighted: “Through the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Funding, across Falkirk District, funded projects have demonstrated the value of local knowledge, trusted relationships and community-led solutions. The launch of Round 6 is an exciting time, as the third sector is able to build on that foundation of support, and continue to develop practical, welcoming, and accessible ways of responding to local need.”

Within this round of funding, there are three levels of grant available: Small (up to £2000 for unconstituted groups, otherwise up to £5000); Medium (up to £10,000); and Large (up to £25,000). Applications can be accepted from a range of third sector groups and organisations which have a strong community focus for their activities. The Fund will support the development of both new and existing projects – although existing project applications should clearly show how they will improve their approach and where possible, build on their impact.

The closing date for applications is 1pm, Tuesday 13 October 2026. Applications submitted after this time will not be considered for any reason.

All applications must be submitted through CVS Falkirk & District’s Grant Funding Portal. To ensure eligibility, please read the provided Applicant Guidance carefully before developing and submitting your application (available online at: www.cvsfalkirk.org.uk/falkirk-communities-mental-health-and-wellbeing-fund-round-6/).
