Forth Valley College seeks new members for board of management – apply now to help shape future of education
Forth Valley College is committed to “Making Learning Work” in further and higher education across the Forth Valley area and beyond.
It is currently inviting expressions of interest for membership of the Board of Management. The college is seeking to appoint a number of individuals to serve as full board members who can also contribute to the activities of the various board committees.
As an organisation that strongly reflects our local communities, we are seeking a diverse range of individuals with the skills and experience to enhance the activities and accountabilities of our board.
The college would especially welcome applications from women and ethnic minorities to reflect the broader demographics of the Forth Valley area.
- Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent)
- Digital transformation in large organisations
- HR/Organisational Development
- A senior leader from academia or from industry within the Forth Valley region
Contribute to success
Membership in the Board of Management will allow individuals to contribute to a college with over 12,000 students a year, a college with over 500 staff members and a College that has a justified reputation for excellence in the Forth Valley, Scottish and UK educational sectors.
Membership is non-remunerated and would require that individuals attend meetings of the Board and its Committees (around eight meetings per year, in the daytime or early evening with a mix of in person or virtually). Relevant expenses would be reimbursed.
