Robin’s mum Sonja said: “Robin recently turned five and decided she wanted to have her long hair cut shorter. She has an immense sense of adventure, doesn’t fear change and is generally a very confident and caring girl. So a bold wish like this didn’t come as a surprise.“I told her about the Little Princess Trust and she could donate her hair so someone who doesn’t have hair can receive a beautiful wig – and I assured her it didn’t mean we would shave all her hair off.“Looking at the Little Princess Trust requirements we decided, and she agreed, to cut off a little more than needed – nine inches. We all love her new bob and she really rocks it.

“Lee at Cutsahead Ltd in Falkirk made the visit to the hairdresser loads of fun and she helped prepare the hair perfectly so we can send it to the Little Princess Trust once they are open to taking donations again.

“If it was up to Robin, she would deliver it personally.”
