Falkirk man jailed for six years over sexual and violent offences against women

A Falkirk man has been imprisoned for six years after committing a series of sexual and violent offences.

Adam Docherty was sentenced at the High Court, Glasgow today and placed on the sex offenders register.

Last month the 22-year-old was found guilty of committing crimes against three women between 2017 and 2018.

Detective Inspector Yvonne O'Rourke, Forth Valley Division Public Protection Unit, said: “It is clear Adam Docherty is a violent and dangerous man, who showed no remorse or thought for his victims during or following his vile actions.
