Police investigating report of attack on woman in Grangemouth say no crime took place

Police investigating a report of a woman being attacked outside a Grangemouth shop have “established that no crime has taken place”.

Officers originally appealed for information in connection with an incident near SPAR in Charlotte Dundas Court on March 26.

It was thought the woman was assaulted after she refused to buy alcohol for teenagers.

However, a spokesperson said: “Following a report a woman had been assaulted by a male youth in Charlotte Dundas Court, Grangemouth, officers have conducted enquiries and established that no crime has taken place.”
