Falkirk community groups can share in £10k Miller Homes fund

Local charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations across Falkirk are being urged to apply for a share of a £10000 charitable fund.

Housebuilder Miller Homes is particularly keen to hear from groups near its Antonine Brae and Avonside Wisp developments as it opens the second round of its 2026 Community Fund.

Launched four years ago, the twice-yearly scheme gives ongoing backing to Scottish grassroots causes and local initiatives that can help create vibrant areas around the housebuilder’s development sites.

The fund is open to a wide range of organisations, from sports clubs and youth clubs to charities and positive community spaces, that want to make a long-lasting contribution to their community.

Gary Heaney, regional operations director for Miller Homes, said: “We know how important local groups and organisations are in bringing communities together, and our Community Fund is one of the ways we can help support the brilliant work they do.

“Whether it’s helping a sports club purchase new equipment, supporting a local charity or giving a community project the boost it needs to grow, even a small amount of funding can make a real difference.

“We’re delighted to open applications for the second round of 2026 and would encourage organisations across the east of Scotland to get involved.”

Groups are asked to explain how a share of the fund would benefit their local community. Grants of between £250 and £2000 are available, with applications reviewed in early November and successful groups receiving funding by the end of that month.

Applications are open until Wednesday, October 28. For more information or to apply for the Community Fund, click here.
