Public invited to have their say at NHS Forth Valley annual review
Residents have the chance to find out more about local health developments and put questions to NHS Forth Valley at the board’s annual review meeting.
Taking place later this month, the meeting will be held at the health board’s headquarters in Stirling, with an online option for anyone unable to attend.
Ahead of the public session, a pre-event will give members of the public the chance to enjoy refreshments, while meeting board members and the senior leadership team.
Hosted by NHS Forth Valley chair Neena Mahal, the event forms part of a review of the board’s performance over the last year. Chief executive Ross McGuffie will give a short presentation highlighting key developments, challenges and achievements, as well as priorities for the future.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Residents with questions about local health services are asked to submit them in advance, up until 5pm on November 18.
NHS Forth Valley’s Chair, Neena Mahal, said: “Our annual review meeting provides an important opportunity to showcase some of the progress we have made over the last year, while also being open about the challenges we face and the areas which require improvement.
“It also gives local people across Forth Valley an opportunity to hear directly about the wide range of work underway and to ask questions about the issues that matter most to them.”
The event will take place on Thursday, November 26, from 13.30 - 14.30 at Carseview House, Castle Business Park in Stirling.
Anyone interested in attending or submitting a question has been asked to register online at the NHS Forth Valley website.
