The Voice final: Craig Eddie's high school sends singer good luck messages
The hours are ticking down to a New Carron singer’s performance in the final of The Voice.
Craig Eddie, 23, is the bookies’ favourite to win the 2021 version of the ITV contest – and pupils and staff at his former school couldn’t be happier for him.
St Mungo’s High School in Falkirk has produced a video to spur on the alumni ahead of Saturday night’s grand finale.
In the clip, headteacher Stephen Phee says: “I’m delighted to say that you’re in the final of The Voice UK.
“We’ll all be watching from home on Saturday night and we wish you the best. Fantastic achievement.
“Just remember your old headteacher when you become a millionaire and famous. Thank you.”
Craig’s form teacher is also among those to send a message of encouragement and recalls his YouTube music videos as a teenager.
Dozens of pupils are also seen holding up promotional posters in the footage, which was shared on Twitter.
