Housebuilder looking for Falkirk charities and groups to share in £10,000 fund

Miller Homes is calling on local charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Falkirk to apply for the second round of its Community Fund for a share of £10,000.

The homebuilder is particularly encouraging applications from groups near its Antonine Brae and Avonside Wisp developments, with applications now open until Wednesday, October 28.

Now in its fourth year, the biannual Community Fund continues to support grassroots organisations and local initiatives across Scotland, helping to create thriving communities in the areas where Miller Homes builds.

From sports clubs and youth groups to charities, community spaces and health and wellbeing initiatives, the fund is open to a wide range of organisations looking to make a lasting impact in their local area.

Since launching in 2022, Miller Homes has awarded almost £470,000 in grants to 592 organisations across the UK, providing vital support to projects and causes at the heart of local communities.

Gary Heaney, regional operations director for Miller Homes Scotland East, said: “We know how important local groups and organisations are in bringing communities together, and our Community Fund is one of the ways we can help support the brilliant work they do.

“Whether it’s helping a sports club purchase new equipment, supporting a local charity or giving a community project the boost it needs to grow, even a small amount of funding can make a real difference.”

Applicants are asked to outline how the funding would benefit their local community, with grants available from £250 up to £2000.

Applications will be reviewed in early November, with successful organisations receiving funding by late November 2026.
