Using Uefa’s disciplinary points system, we’ve examined each teams’ points total across the four divisions over the course of the 2018-19 season up to the 36-game mark.
It’s three points for a red, and a point for a yellow. In the event of a tie we have looked at foul count too. Stats courtesy of the SPFL website.
49 points - Clyde are statistically the fairest team across all divisions. They've picked up three red cards, two to Tom Lang this year, but had the lowest number of yellows (40) and lowest foul count out of all 42 clubs (332)
50 points - Just a point behind Clyde, and with one less red card, Airdrieonians are in second position. Scott Robertson picked up both reds. They also had least amount of yellows in League One (44). Foul count: 392.
51 points - Celtic received three red cards this season, the fewest amount of yellows in the league (42), Scott Brown got 10 of those. Lowest foul count in Premiership (347).
55 points - Forfar Athletic are the next fairest team with just three red cards and 46 yellows. Michael Travis picked up eight bookings. Foul count: 367
58 points - Albion Rovers avoided the League Two play-offs with some fine late season form. Three red cards and 49 yellows sees them in fifth in disciplinary table.
58 points - The fairest team in the Championship, Dunfermline picked up just two red cards and 52 yellows over the course of the season, the fewest of any Championship side. Foul count: 413.
59 points - Dumbarton only had two red cards and 53 yellows and conceded the least amount of fouls (346) in League One this season.
60 points - Queens, who narrowly avoided the automatic relegation spot in the Championship, had just one red card all season, 57 yellows, Lyndon Dykes was booked ten times, and conceded least amount of fouls in the league (361).
60 points - St Johnstone were just edged out by QoS by one foul 362-361. Two red cards all season means they're joint lowest count of reds in Premiership. (2R, 54Y)
61 points - Despite picking up five red cards this season, East Fife had one of the better disciplinary records thanks to their yellow card count of 46.
62 points - Greenock Morton had just one red card all season but 59 yellows. Nine of which were picked up by Michael Tidser. (1R, 59Y)
63 points - One of three teams to get 63 points, but lowest foul count of 348. Two red cards and 57 yellows, eight picked up by Nat Wedderburn.
63 points - Stirling Albion received three reds and 54 yellows. Nine yellows picked up by Dom Docherty, and a foul count of 402.
63 points - The only club out of the 42 to avoid a red card all season. However, 63 yellows was quite a high card count. Ten picked up by David Wilson. 406 total fouls.
65 points - Edinburgh City only picked up one red card all season but had a fairly high yellow card count of 62. Craig Thomson picked up 11 yellows in 33 games.
