Former Falkirk midfielder Morgaro Gomis joins League 1 rivals Clyde
Clyde have snapped up former Falkirk midfielder Morgaro Gomis after his release from the club at the end of last season.
The Senegal international was one of nine players announced to be leaving the Bairns earlier this month after they failed to gain promotion to the Championship.
Gomis, 35, joined Falkirk in June 2019 and spent two years at the Falkirk Stadium having previously played with Dundee United and Hearts in Scotland and a host of other clubs in England and across the globe.
Next season he will line up against the Bairns in League 1 when they face Clyde.
Speaking to their club’s official website, Bully Wee boss Danny Lennon described the ex-Falkirk midfielder as a player of “outstanding quality” adding that “his experience and defensive qualities will be a welcome addition.”
The other players who were announced as leaving the club earlier this month were Conor Sammon, Scott Mercer, Josh Todd, Robbie Leitch, Akeel Francis, Aidan Laverty and Jay Cantley and Mark Durnan
