It’s the second time the pair have shared that accolade since moving into management just over a year ago.

Miller said: “It’s a team game. The players have worked extremely hard to get us in the position we’re in just now, so it’s all thanks to them.

"There’s also been a lot of hard work behind the scenes from David and I, and all the backroom staff.

"Everybody’s doing their part. We’ve won this award, but everybody deserves it. We’re delighted to get it.”

McCracken added: “It’s good to be recognised but it means nothing unless we continue the good work that we’ve done.

"We say that to the players all the time. It’s about making sure we get that next result, and that’s obviously tomorrow.

"We need to get that next win to continue this run we’re on, and long may it continue.”

Falkirk are currently top of the table, with 14 points after six games, one ahead of second-placed Cove Rangers, and they host seventh-placed Peterhead tomorrow, December 5, at 3pm.

They won three of their five games in November, losing only to Rangers, by 4-0 at home last Sunday in the Betfred Cup’s second round, and they remain unbeaten in the league this season, having won four games and drawn two.

Their other results last month were a 4-0 away Betfred Cup win at Dumbarton and, in the league, a 2-2 draw away to Partick Thistle, 1-0 win at home to Aberdeen’s Cove Rangers and 3-0 win away to Dumbarton.

South Lanarkshire-born Miller, 37, and Glaswegian McCracken, 39, have been in joint charge at the Falkirk Stadium since current Queen’s Park boss Ray McKinnon’s sacking last November.

Next up for the prize-winning pair after tomorrow’s Peterhead game is scheduled to be a trip to North Lanarkshire the following Saturday, December 12, to take on coronavirus-hit Clyde, currently in eighth place and level on six points with this weekend’s visitors from Aberdeenshire. Negative covid-19 test results in the meanwhile permitting, that game, to be played at Cumbernauld’s Broadwood Stadium, will kick off at 3pm too.
