The club can now go ahead with plans to install a new modular building, with a ramp for disabled access, and to extend its car park.
Planners said that both of these proposals would use rough, unkempt grassland belonging to the cricket club.
They added that that the limited loss of open space was considered appropriate as the development would support the continuing and expanded use of the site as a sports pitch by the local community.

The report stated: "The proposed development will help the continued operation of a valued community facility at this location by providing upgraded facilities."
The club previously announced that it had been given cash from the sportscotland Sport Facilities Fund, which supports projects that widen access to sport.
The cash will help the club become fully accessible to disabled people.
