New Stenhousemuir ice cream parlour set to open its doors

A new ice cream parlour will be opening in Stenhousemuir this summer, now planning permission has been granted.

Candied will be at 48 King Street Owner Amrit Dhillon is hopeful that work will soon be underway, and they will be ready to open by June or July.

Mr Dhillon also hopes that by opening day they'll be able to welcome customers in person to the spacious new premises.

The popular ice-cream shop already has branches in Grangemouth, Rumford and Denny but at the moment is only offering a delivery service in a bid to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

Mr Dhillon says they already have a busy delivery service around the area so he is confident they will have loyal customers by the time the shop is open.

"We're very grateful that we've been able to grow the business in such a dark time," he said.
