Plans to extend Falkirk nursing home

An application has been lodged with Falkirk Council planners to extend a nursing home in the area.

Avondale Care (Scotland) Ltd’s proposal – to add and extension on to Carrondale Nursing Home, in Beaumont Drive, Carron, – was validated by local authority planners on Wednesday, May 25 and is now awaiting approval.

Plans to extend the premises were granted back in 2008.

Last year Avondale Care, established in 1987, successfully secured at £10 million loan from Barclays to accelerate its long-term growth plans and expand its portfolio.
