New Larbert group launches Christmas lights competition
and live on Freeview channel 276
Residents of the two Larbert areas competed in four categories to find the boldest & brightest, most subtle & sophisticated, the best balcony and the most quirky & quaint.
The judges were some of the local children along with local councillors, Gary Bouse and Joan Coombes.

Hide AdJames Alexander, vice-chair of the association and owner of thefingerprint design agency, said: “It was great to see so many people take part and seeing families walking the streets to view them.
"Hopefully this has helped raise the spirits after what has been a difficult year for many."
Councillor Gary Bouse said: "We had a great night looking at all the displays - some of them were spectacular and the effort that people had put in was amazing!"

Hide AdCouncillor Joan Coombes said: "The standard was so high, it was really difficult to choose.”She added: "In these difficult times it was nice to see the community pulling together to cheer up an otherwise dark year."
Local businesses providing the prizes were: the fingerprint design agency, Information Answers, Ròst Coffee Co., Spice Magic, Cellos, Falkirk Community Trust and Sky High Jump.
