Falkirk car crash: 88-year-old seriously injured after crash on Glen Brae

An 88-year old is being treated in Forth Valley Hospital for serious injuries after a car crash in Falkirk.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened around 1.10pm on Saturday, November 21 on Glen Brae at its junction with Slamannan Road.

It involved a silver Skoda Roomster and a blue Peugeot 308.

The 88-year-old male passengerof the Skoda was taken to hospital.

No one else was injured.

The road was closed for six hours for an investigation at the scene, and was reopened again around 7pm.

Sergeant Colin Morrison, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances which led to this crash and would urge anyone with information to come forward.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have seen the vehicles involved beforehand.

“Any information can be passed on by calling 101, quoting incident 1688 of 21 November.”
