Love appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, having missed a scheduled appearance the week prior because she was recovering from a fractured ankle.

Stephen Biggam, defence solicitor, said his client had also suffered a fractured eye socket after being assaulted.

He added: “She tells me she’s not very mobile at the moment.”

Love was placed on a structured deferred sentence and ordered to attend services that assist with mental health and alcohol difficulties.
