Alan Stevenson (47) was expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday but failed to turn up.

Stevenson, 9 Maryfield Place, Tamfourhill, had been due to show face in connection with a charge against him which states he supplied a controlled drug, namely Diazepam – a class C – to another or others, namely a woman who has since died.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton noted Stevenson’s absence from court and asked procurator fiscal depute Sean Maher about the accused’s criminal record.

Mr Maher told Sheriff Hamilton that Stevenson was convicted for a breach of the peace in 2002 and fined £125 and had his licence endorsed for a driving offence in Glasgow in 2015.

A warrant was then granted for his arrest.
