The hunt is now on for the mindless vandals who used white paint to daub graphic images and profanities over Bonnybridge war memorial.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the vandalism at the War Memorial in Main Street, Bonnybridge. The exact times and dates of this vandalism are unclear, however, the vandalism was initially observed by a member of the public about 2pm on Sunday, January 24.”
People can call 101, quoting reference 1031 of January 24.
