Falkirk-based paramedics to feature in new BBC Scotland documentary

Paramedics on Scene will follow paramedics as they respond to 999 calls across the country.

Lauren McEwan and Allan Ure, who are based in Falkirk, are among those given screen time in the programme, which will be shown on the BBC Scotland channel early in the new year.

The duo are interviewed after being called to an unusual location when a patient finds themselves in trouble at a veterinary surgery.

Talking about the call-out, Ms McEwan said: “We do go to some wild and wacky places but I think that was a first for me.”

In this first episode, the cameras capture Special Operations Paramedics responding to a major incident on the A90 near Dundee.
