Youngsters in primary four at Hallglen Primary worked with visitors from Forth Valley College and modern apprentices to develop their skills in science, technology, engineering and maths last week.

Around 60 children were given kits to make a working windmill and the task supported their development in co-operation, communication and team work.They then tested their model to check it was working and how it could be improved.It was part of a week-long event within the Graeme High cluster of schools to help develop skills in STEM and look at different career paths which are available beyond school.
