Owners Sava Estates and Bennett Developments and Consulting are applying to transform the empty premises at 3 La Porte Precinct into what it describes as a quality restaurant with a small ancillary takeaway.

The planning application shows that the new restaurant will continue to be accessed via the existing front entranceway directly off of the precinct.

The main restaurant will occupy the majority of the floor area.

There will be a small waiting area with seating for anyone waiting for a takeaway and restaurant customers who are waiting to be seated.

To the rear will be the kitchens and male/female toilet facilities, while at the very back there will be a refuse store.

Externally, the application says, the only change will be the introduction of an extraction flue.

Councillors will consider the application in due course.
