Asda agrees to stock Larbert-based butchery firm's new party bites

Larbert-based butchery business Malcolm Allan is sampling the taste of success once again after reaching a deal with Asda over its new party bites range.

The family-owned firm released its Black Pudding Party Bites, Pork Finger Party Bites, Haggis, Neeps and Tattie Party Bites and Fireballs Party Bites in time for Christmas.

Supermarket giant Asda has agreed to stock the four-strong selection in more than 50 of its stores across Scotland in time for the festive season.

Established in 1954, the business is now the fourth-biggest food brand in Scotland and already supplies 30 products to Asda.

Gordon Allan, Malcolm Allan director, said: “We invested in new machinery this year to allow us to pack these party lines and offer our customers more great-tasting products.
