Revving up for Bo'ness Car Show
The Bo’ness Car Show is back for 2026 and it’s bigger and better than ever before!
The vent will take place on Sunday, June 7 – its traditional slot of the first weekend in June – and organiser James Stephen promises an event with “something for everybody” – not just car lovers.
“It's a family friendly day out,” he says, “people might think it's just going to old and young guys looking at cars, but that's not the case at all.
“There's things for the kids like bouncy castles and stalls where they can win a prize, and there will be cartoon characters like Bluey for them to meet.

“There will be traders selling things from dog beds to cars and everything in between. People will be selling home baking as well as manufacturers, so we have the local aspect alongside the larger scale commercial side.
“There's a BMX stunt show. The guys come up from London, they're the best in the UK that we found. They bring a huge airbag system and do double backflips - it's impressive!
“As well as all that there's live music too.
“There's something for everybody. The idea is that Grandad will love looking at an old MG whilst his grandson will like looking at a Lamborghini.”

James says that there will be the biggest array of cars so far in the events history at the Kinneil Estate.
“This year we have modern cars, super cars, classic cars, boy racer cars - everything weird and wonderful basically!
“The spaces for show cars sold out months ago and this year we have more than we've ever had before. We've managed to work out a bit more space for them so there's going to be around 900 of them.
“Also we sold out all the spaces for traders and food vendors, so the place is going to be packed!
“If people are coming, they can pay at the gate but it's cheaper for them if they buy a ticket in advance on the website.”
“We've been looking at comments online and there's lots of people saying it's the first time that they will be going this year, so that's really pleasing.
“It's always good to get a fresh audience and we always look forward to coming to Bo’ness.”
Tickets are available at www.bonesscarshow.co.uk. The day runs from 10am-4pm with access to the free public car park available from 9am.
