Festive magic will be brought to the area in the form of A Christmas Miracle at Rough Castle, near Tamfourhill.

Running from December 10 to 24, the socially distanced attraction will span 1.4 kilometres through woodland.

Organisers have teamed up with Glasgow street food providers Big Feed and theme park M&D’s so guests can enjoy tasty treats and take a spin on fairground attractions.

Bonnybridge woman Rhiannon McQuade, who is overseeing the event, is hopeful it will fill visitors with Christmas cheer.

Ms McQuade, who also put on the 2018 Legion event at Rough Castle, said: “We’re just trying to create something people can visit and enjoy.

“Everything is outdoors so we’re hoping to get over the line. There’ll be social distancing measures in place and a limited capacity.”

First entry is 4pm daily. The last entry for the trail will be 8.30pm.
