Families will once again be able to enjoy a magical winter wonderland at a West Lothian country park this December.

Following the success of last year’s debut event at Beecraigs Country Park near Linlithgow, the Festive Forest is back and organisers say it’s “bigger, brighter, longer and more spectacular” than before.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an illuminated trail through the woodland, taking in magical sights and sounds.

The family-friendly event promises a Santa storytelling experience, children’s rides, mulled wine and festive treats, plus more magical surprises.

The festive themed installation is by one of the country’s leading light designers, promising a fantastic experience for all ages.

One of the biggest changes from last year is that due to coronavirus, there will be no shuttle buses running between Linlithgow and the site.

Instead people are asked to travel to the event within their own social bubble by car only.

Tickets for the event, run by Rowen Events, are now on sale.
