The talented members of Falkirk Youth Theatre will delight audiences again this year with their production of Robin Hood – A Pantomime Adventure.
The cast are pulling out all the stops to make this a real treat for all the family. Arts Development Officer (Dance & Drama), Falkirk Community Trust , Hazel Beattie said: “This is shaping up to be another fantastic pantomime with the young people learning circus skills and stage fighting along with some fantastic songs and dance routines. The people of Falkirk are in for a real treat and I am extremely proud of all the hard work put in from all our talented members and production team. It ‘Sher-would’ be good to see you there!”
Written by local writer Simon Beattie, the show tells the tale of Robin Hood and his merry gang who set out to defeat the evil Sheriff and his mum who raise the taxes of all the poor villagers. Along the way we encounter characters who will have you laughing, cheering and, of course, booing. On the Wednesday evening there will be a BSL interpreted performance by Catherine King and Yvonne Strain.
