A film memorabilia collector and celebrity agent will bring 100 famous faces to an autograph convention.
Gregor Gee is hosting the Celebrity Autograph Convention in Blackpool. He will gather together stars of film and television for fans to get their photos taken with and add to their signature books.
Gregor, from Bo’ness is well known for DJing and presenting around Falkirk, but he also runs a talent agency, looking after the likes of Mark Lester from Oliver and has thousands of items of memorabilia from television and film.
Gregor said: “I’m really excited about the convention, there is close to 100 famous actors and actresses coming to meet their fans.
“The cast of Melody, Mark Lester and Tracy Hyde are going to be together for the first time since they did publicity for their film and we have lots of the cast of the cult movie Quadrophenia.
“For the first time George Lazenby and the Bond girls from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service will be back together and they will even be doing a few spins of the roulette table at the on site casino.”
The event on Saturday, October 24 at the Viva Blackpool venue in the seaside town has a Las Vegas theme with a casino and glamorous setting. All proceeds will go to animal conservation charity Our Disappearing Planet.
The cast of Allo Allo will be reunited at the convention and stars from the iconic Carry On films and Hammer Horror series.
Gregor, who staged a successful Willy Wonka night in Grangemouth last year using his dozens of pieces of memorabilia from the 1970s film, added: “This will give fans the rare chance to meet their idols and get their autograph or picture taken.
“The response has been incredible and we have fans from all over Europe coming. A fan club from Japan is contemplating making the journey to Blackpool and individuals from Austria to Argentina have bought tickets.
“I’m adding new celebrities to the bill all the time, just keep an eye on the Facebook page for news.”
