Children at Maddiston Primary School were treated to a riveting performance of Scottish Opera show ‘The Legend of Slim McBride and The Lost Tribe’.

The story is about adventurer Slim McBride and explores the threats the modern world’s environmental footprint pose to the rainforests of South America and eco-systems. Primary six pupils also performed in the show as part of the organisation’s primary schools tour. Around 10,000 pupils take part every year allowing them to access high quality, challenging and creative music theatre workshops. The scheme is also part of the school’s Curricular for Excellence programme and parents and guests were invited to watch the performance.
