Macrobert in line for a Rocky night

Fans of cult cinema and films camper than a VW van will wind their way down the Rocky road to Stirling’s Macrobert tomorrow (Friday) night.

Screenings of Richard O’Brien’s 1975 classic ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ have taken on a weird and wonderful life of their own in recent times.

Movie goers come dressed as their favourite characters and are not averse to singing and dancing to the myriad of musical numbers, including the timeless ‘Time Warp’. Then there is the amazing Tim Curry as Frank N Furter, sinister O’Brien as Riff Raff and a young Meat Loaf as Eddie.

The ultimate, if not the only, monster movie featuring a transvestite mad scientist.

Things get strange from 11 p.m. Visit www.macrobert.org to book your seat.
