The hardest working boys in pop have reached the finals of yet another talent competition.
Double Trouble, aka 13-year-old Grangemouth High pupils Joe Evans and Jamie Greenaway, will play Hamilton Park Racecourse on Sunday as part of Hamilton’s Got Talent.
The teens are one of ten acts in the finals, whittled down from entrants including dancers, magicians and actors who submitted videos of their performance and they hope to scoop the big £500 prize money.
The winning act, selected by a panel of judges, will also get a tour of Clyde One FM and have breakfast with DJ George Bowie and the breakfast show team.
Double Trouble have been playing together since they were in primary school together and earlier this year won the Real Radio Real Talent competition, beating hundreds of other acts.
Jamie’s dad, Scott, said of the duo: “They are a hardworking pair of boys, and their effort really shows.
“When they were nine years old, their music teacher asked the boys to play at her wedding. To me, that is the biggest compliment and I know they have what it takes to win the competition.”
Tickets to Hamilton’s Got Talent cost £13 including a race day and are available from www.ticketsoup.com
