Relatively new Falkirk band Dillinger will soon be topping music lovers’ most wanted list and you can see why at Shuffle Down on Saturday.
The live music festival, which takes place at Larbert’s Dobbie Hall, features bands and solo artists aplenty and Dillinger are proud as punch to be added to the mix.
Bass player Tom McBroom said: “Shuffle Down lets people know the local scene is still alive and kicking. It’s good to see the Dobbie Hall getting used for live music again rather than the coffee mornings and craft fairs these once great halls are now resigned to.”
The band grew out of the demise of popular local combo The Difference, a discussion involving gangster films and the introduction of a talented singer late last year. Influenced by Shaun Ryder, Michael Bolton - yes, Michael Bolton - Noel Gallagher, The Beatles, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Keith Moon and Eric Clapton, the Dillinger gang write all their own material.
Shuffle Down kicks off at 2 p.m. and promises to unleash whole lotta lovely local live sound.
