Blow away the festive cobwebs with lively entertainment courtesy of Pure Brass.

The quintet kicks off 2015 for Classic Music Live! Falkirk with a concert in Falkirk town Hall on Friday, January 16 at 7.30 p.m.

The players who make up one of the top young brass quintets in the country are not to be missed. They are: Andrew Connell-Smith and Iain Archibald on trumpets; Christopher Gough on French horn; Christopher Mansfield on trombone; and Danielle Price on tuba.

The programme ranges from Bach, Vivaldi and Gabrielli to Luciano Berio and Fats Waller and an arrangement of trumpeter Ryan Quigley’s ‘Love Lost’ from his 2008 ‘Laphroaig-ian Slip’ album.

Tickets are priced at £12(students £3) from the Steeple Box Office(01324 506850) or at the door on the evening of the concert.
